Guide to Borrowing Books
Book Deposits
The deposit amount for each book is 150,000 VND. This deposit is intended to assist Booktio in cases of damage or loss of books. The deposit amount will be 100% refunded to you after the books are returned.
How to borrow books?
Step 1: Create an account on Booktio. To create an account, please go to the My Account page in the
header menu. If you already have an account, fill out your account information and click login to log into
that account. To create a new account, click on Register and enter the correct details to create the
account. There is also an option to create an account on the checkout page if you prefer to choose the
books first and create an account later.
Step 2: Go to the Book Catalog page, select the book you want to borrow, click Add to Cart of the book
you want to borrow, and click the Checkout button.
Step 3: Pay the deposit by bank transfer to Booktio or pay a deposit to the shipper when receiving
books.
Step 4: Receive the book, pay the shipping fee and deposit to the shipper (in case you don't transfer the
deposit), and enjoy Booktio's fascinating books and stories.
Usually, books are sent to you on the Saturday or Sunday closest to the date you ordered from the
Booktio library.
How many books can you borrow each time and how long can you keep a borrowed book?
You can borrow up to 5 books at a time, and try to read all the books you borrow within a maximum of
30 days. The 30 days are counted from the date Booktio sends the book to the address you provided in
your account. The last day to return the book will be the Saturday or Sunday closest to the 30th day of
the borrowed period.
For example: If Booktio delivers the book on Saturday, February 4, 2023, the return deadline will be
Sunday, March 5, 2023. If Booktio ships the book on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the return deadline
will be Saturday, March 11, 2023.
If you return the book later than the 30 days borrow period, Booktio will deduct from the deposit the
amount of 10,000 VND/book/week late.

How to return books?
You may return the book to Booktio using any shipping or delivery service you wish to return to the
address listed below. Note: Booktio only accepts books on weekends!
Immediately after receiving the books and checking the book's condition, Booktio will refund the
amount you deposited.
